They generally work in office environments with regular 9 to 5 weekday schedule and often communicate with government officials to procure the latest information on sanitary devices, equipment, and protective gear. They typically use a personal computer to research sanitary strategies, write detailed reports based on their observations, and communicate with others. They may also be responsible for devising efficient methods to improve sanitary conditions, such as making water more pure and procuring chemicals to maintain cleanliness at all times.
