They help determine if promotional and pricing strategies used by the company are enticing to customers or if they are failing. Then, the senior strategy analyst needs to make suggestions as to how these strategies might be modified or replaced. Another important part of the job is not only finding strategies to increase sales, but also discovering how to increase customer satisfaction. Senior strategy analyst positions generally require a bachelor’s degree, as well as relevant experience. Positions are generally full time and are usually carried out in an office environment. The senior strategy analyst needs to be proficient with basic computer programs, as positions might require the use of computer programs to determine effectiveness of strategies; success in this job may be measured by sales growth.
