It's a great city to live in and raise a family.

Great place to work, open ended.
Software Developer in Milwaukee:
Pros: You are free to make your own choices, but you have a list of given priorities. Your path is your own, you are surrounded by intelligent people, and your bosses are supportive in your journey as a professional.
Cons: It's hard to say, I really love working here and have no intentions of going anywhere. If I had to pick, I'd say the 'flat' structure makes it confusing on 'who is in charge' beyond the obvious. This can make certain projects, asking for advice on important decisions, confusing when you get conflicting answers.
