A software quality assurance (SQA) tester is responsible for testing software to ensure there are no bugs. They also provide suggestions to streamline the user interface so customers will have an easier time using the software. SQA testers must be able to locate issues and provide detailed information on how to replicate issues so they can be resolved quickly. They must also be able to analyze test results and logs so any issues are reported to their supervisors.
