Previously, he was the CEO and president of Performant, and also held product leadership positions at RealNetworks, and Microsoft. Mike holds an MBA in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University.

Ronni Bernhard

Ronni joined PayScale in 2014. Prior to joining PayScale she was the Director of Finance at All Star Directories. With more than 20 years' experience in financial and operational management she held Senior Financial Manager positions at both Nuance Communications and AOL in their digital services divisions. As a Controller she's worked the numbers side with a wide range of organizations, from publishing to tech start-ups to consultants in the health care industry. She has a BS in Business and graduated with honors from the University of Washington.

Melody Brown

Coming to PayScale as a high achievement sales leader, Melody joined the company in 2014. With a depth of experience – from startups to Fortune 100 companies – her most recent role was VP Sales & Channel for DataCore Software. She also was Managing Principal & Owner at PEAK Consulting, and had several sales management positions at Lexmark. Melody serves our local community as a member on the Board of Directors of Pike Place Market Foundation.

He has spent two decades managing large-scale Web products, including seven years at Amazon.com, where he was a vice president in the search technology group. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University and received his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Preston joined PayScale in 2015. With deep roots in Silicon Valley, he brings over 25 years of sales & business development experience in the technology industry. Previously, he operated the global alliance eco-system for Xactly, and also held leadership positions at Reachlocal and ShopEaze Systems. He has a BS in Communications and Social Sciences from the University of Southern California.

Emily Jensen
VP of Sales

Emily Jensen

Emily Jensen, Vice President of Sales, joined PayScale in 2007 as an Account Executive. Emily was quickly promoted and began leading the western division of the PayScale sales team in 2009. Her leadership has been instrumental in PayScale's sales achievement, with the sales team posting its fastest growth to date under her direction. Prior to PayScale, Emily held roles in the art world, including work at the Eagle Gallery in London and the Seattle Art Museum. Emily is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Drew, son Oliver and their two dogs. Emily is also passionate about supporting our local animal shelters and is currently serving as a foster parent for PAWS in Lynnwood.

Most recently, he was CFO at Appature and has also held CFO positions at All Star Directories, Daptiv, M:Metrics, AccessLine, RealNetworks and Industrial Systems. He earned a Bachelor's and a Master's of Business Administration degree from Yale University.

Likely one of the most charismatic people in the office, Stacey moved into the head of human resources role in 2014, after joining PayScale in 2009 as the Controller. Stacey possesses more than 25 years of executive, financial, and administrative experience inside fast-growth enterprises, most recently as CFO of Redhawk Group. Previously, Stacey held leadership positions with NetMotion Wireless (acquired by Padcom Inc.) and Captura Software (acquired by Concur Technologies).

Tim joined PayScale in 2011 to bring his experience in demand generation, product marketing, branding and go-to-market to the company's business products. Tim’s resume includes deep expertise in both enterprise software and cloud-based applications. He has held executive positions at Daptiv and at Niku (where he was part of the team that led the IPO), and product management roles at both Microsoft and Oracle. Tim was a founder of social analytics platform NorthbyNine and is a graduate of Marquette University.

Katie holds a bachelor's in economics from the College of the Holy Cross and a master's in economics from University of Washington, with a focus in labor economics and econometrics.

Prior to Payscale, Dave spent 15 years in sales and product marketing leadership positions with a number of successful, venture-backed startups. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Portland State University.
