When I first started this job I worked alongside another assistant, but she didn't last long and I ultimately ended up doing both jobs on my own. I thought I deserved a higher salary but I was initially hesitant to ask for it. The hard part for me was finding the right words to describe what I wanted. I didn't want to come off as disgruntled.
