Respondents who have been working for five to nine years tend to make $12.50. The greater proportion of employees (44 percent) report one to four years of experience and bring home approximately $9.36 per hour.
Bringing in the most money are Warehouse Clerks — their earnings average $15.50. Meat Cutters are a close second at about $13.80 along with Store Detectives ($13.50) and Pharmacy Technicians (around $10.10). Cashiers at Meijer, Inc. do not see much in the way of financial compensation and represent one of the lower-paid positions (about $8.30) at the company.
Certifications and Degrees
Salaries approach approximately $57.84 for Registered Pharmacists; non-accredited workers make much less. Becoming a Certified Immunization Pharmacist can certainly pay off here; those folks make $56.54. Meijer, Inc. provides the highest financial reward to those with a medical degree — these employees rake in around $31.53 per hour.
