Nearing the top of the pay scale are Customer Service Agents and Customer Service Representatives; the former receives the highest median pay at about $12.63 per hour while $9.24 per hour is the norm for the latter.


In this role, the best-paying skill appears to be Microsoft Office; individuals who claim it among their capabilities enjoy a higher median salary of $10.00 per hour. It's pretty common to find people here who know Customer Service; a strong majority consider it a key competency. Call Center, Typing, and Sales were also reported by many survey participants.
