Flash animators work with Flash software in order to develop animations such as in game design and website design. These animators may be presented with ideas and be responsible for bringing them to life, and they may also be responsible for the initial concepts in some positions. Each project may have different styles, characters, and effects; when creating ads with flash animation, it is also important to research current and successful trends in order to maintain competitiveness. Those in this position must be highly artistic and creative, and some employers prefer those with prior work experience while others search primarily for talent in applicants. Maintaining a portfolio of past work in both digital and print form is highly beneficial and may be required for some positions.
