Grounds caretakers manage the exterior appearance of a facility and ensure that the grounds are free of obstructions and other hazards. They are often responsible for picking up and removing trash, gardening and weeding, planting new plants, and maintaining current flora by watering and fertilizing, as well as arranging gardens for aesthetic appeal.
