With a median annual earnings of $126K per year, former Bears who have a Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Jurisprudence, or Master of Law (LLM) are the best paid among the alumni population. Ranking last in the compensation department are those holding a Master of Divinity (MDiv), Theology — their annual income amounts to around $31K on average.


Mercer grads are usually competent in Microsoft Excel, and about a tenth of alumni continue practicing this skill in their career. Financial Analysis commands a pay premium of 18 percent for former Bears. In addition, those who are savvy in Data Analysis, Microsoft Office, and Project Management are also considered highly skilled.

Benefits and Perks

Though slightly more than half of the graduates get paid time off for vacation, only one-third of alumni receive paid sick leave. A fair number of survey participants opt for a 401(k) to save for retirement. Health insurance benefits extend to a strong majority of graduates, and a strong majority of alums sign up for dental plans.
