Degree Major

A medical degree earns Mercer students the most money after college ($119K per year). On the other end of the spectrum, those with a Master of Divinity (MDiv), Theology tend to do the worst in terms of salary, making $31K per year.


For former Bears, proficiency in Operations Management warrants a paycheck that is 27 percent more than other alumni salaries. One in ten grads report using Microsoft Excel as part of their job, making it the most popular skill. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office, Project Management, and Financial Analysis rank among leading skills as well.

Benefits and Perks

Paid vacation days are a given for slightly more than half of the respondents, but only one in three grads are rewarded with paid sick leave. Benefits are rather generous for graduates of this school; a fair portion of former students are rewarded with health insurance and most survey participants report dental coverage, too. A fair portion of graduates take advantage of a 401(k) plan. Mercer University alumni are also on the receiving end of life insurance, a company-subsidized cell phone, a casual working environment, and tuition reimbursement.
