March 2019
"Play the game or be left out."
Technical Support Specialist in Jacksonville:
Pros: the people are generally realistic about why we work there but the culture is too demanding for the pay
Cons: stretch roles should be illegal, at least the way they're used here. Basically, do 3 people's job for 3 years and we'll give you less than you earned 4 years ago.
March 2019
"Stuck in the 1970's."
Senior Product Management Director in New York:
Pros: I really wish that there was something optimistic I could say. Nada.
Cons: Was hired to innovate at one of the "ADP Ventures" and joined the company only to realize that they're "innovating" only for the PR benefits. Some of their biggest innovation investments have morphed into disastrous failures, and the company is run by "tenured" old boys that are stuck in the 70's when it comes to understanding the current tech landscape, and business strategy.
