Nursery workers take care of young children in a child care setting. These individuals plan and organize activities for children that may include music, arts and crafts, competitions, and other activities that entertain and teach the children under their care. Nursery workers also help children learn counting, reading, and life skills by incorporating games and book reading into the children's daily activities. Additionally, these individuals feed, clean, and change babies and toddlers, as well as ensure children are completely safe at all times.
