Administrative Assistant Reviews
What is it like working as an Administrative Assistant?
January 2020
Rewarding but without a future.
Administrative Assistant in Perth:
Pros: I love working with the people at my level.
Cons: The upper management is failing to communicate effectively with the grass-roots level.
January 2020
Environmentally friendly job in a magnificent surrounding.
Administrative Assistant in Anchorage:
Pros: I can go hike, trek, exercise the minute I leave work in the evenings. Winters are wonderful if you like cold weather, summers are endless with 21 hours of sunshine. And people are close and friendly.
Cons: Winter roads require being attentive because of inexperienced drivers. Also, the other states tend to think Alaska is not in the U.S., creating logistics problems. And sometimes it's hard to work when the outdoors is so beckoning!
January 2020
Working in Mumbai is quite as working in the World.
Administrative Assistant in Mumbai:
Pros: The workplace and the environment created to work under
Cons: Recognition of the work and effort one paid to his career
December 2019
Administrative Assistant in New York:
Specifically the COP - school has been in probation 3 times in the last 5 years. One of the main reasons was due to extreme dissatisfaction among faculty and staff for certain members of the administration. Seeing as going into probation twice in a row didn't work didn't change the provost's opinion of the administration, faculty and staff gave up reporting. Morale is low. There is no growth opportunity and all career moves are stunted. People are overworked and underpaid. Most people are lacking in support as the college keeps losing employees.

Very Rewarding.
Administrative Assistant in Denver:
Pros: I feel very comfortable in my job. It is challenging and the management team depends on me to complete projects needed to meet compliance.
Cons: I am an hourly employee. There are times when I am needed at off hours by my manager or staff. I am responsible for quite a few reports and other duties as assigned. Sometimes it’s overwhelming.
