Childcare Worker Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Childcare Worker?

Childcare Worker in Winnipeg:
"Pros and Cons of Childcare Career."
Pros: Firstly, it's nice to spend time with the children and watch how they learn and play. Secondly there are weekends off ,paid holidays, and sick days. Also, I appreciate the benefits.
Cons: Sometimes there are stressful times where it is hard to work with other staff and it is a challenge at times with a uncooperative child. Some stressful times are a usually a result from being short staffed, a change in the routine (Having to stay indoors because of the weather and/or the gym facility not available). Also, it's humiliating being corrected out loud in front of everybody when there is something your not aware of that your not doing properly. Lastly, it's frustrating being told that your unable to book a couple hours off to go to an appointment due to being again short staffed.
