Great coworkers, less great managers and tension between staff and administrators that never seems to resolve even with union intervention. Benefits are ok, pay is based on years worked and education.

Complete lack of Respect for the Nursing dept and Nsg profession by Directors. Not Valued.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Andover:
Pros: The individuals and families I care for
Cons: The job description keeps expanding to unrealistic expectations without any additional support help or compensation. On call is like another full time job that is not compensated

Registered Nurse (RN) in Waterford:
I like working at Lakeview Specialty Hospital for many reasons. The nurses I work with are great, we’re trying to avoid having agency nurses come in right now. The pay is alright, but I’ve heard some places pay more. Especially since we’re out in Waterford. Staffing is an issue, like anywhere else. Sometimes RNs have to do Complete nursing care, as a RN and CNA. Some of management is great. All in all I would recommend this as a place to work.
