What is it like working at Sanofi?
Supply Chain Planner:
Great place to work. Facilities are excellent. The huge problem is training for new starters is poor at best. It's sink or swim which is not good. Managememt are good but maybe a bit more worries about kpis than training.
Medical Director, Industrial:
Not interested in paying competitive wages. Bottom quartile, and of course HR knows this, as they will match competitive offers from local pharma, albeit a few bucks shy of a 100% match. Plus, salries in Europe are lower than the US, so there is always complaints that Americans get paid too much.
"Difficult Environment; but great learning opportunity."
Senior Financial Analyst in Framingham:
Pros: With the myriad levels of bureaucracy created by a behemoth operating at a scale like Sanofi's, there are few better places to learn how to work inside a large corporation. This can be difficult and stretching, but in the long-term I think it will benefit anyone who works here and does their best.
Cons: Non-French employees are, simply put, not respected and not given space to grow. There is a clear and obvious bias against promoting internal talent in favor of bringing in any (usually French) external person in for any leadership roles, no matter the level.
Bioinformatics Scientist in Paris:
Pros: stability and advantages of big company
Cons: no promotion possibilities
