Advantage Sales & Marketing, LLC Reviews

What is it like working at Advantage Sales & Marketing, LLC?

Unfair payment.
Business Development Manager in Los Angeles:
Cons: Customer relations and the possibilities to increase sales, volume and distribution.
You get what you put into it.
Director of Operations in Bentonville:
Pros: Flexibility and the investment they have made in time.
Cons: Inconsistent process across all business units that can create a negative culture within some teams. The base salary needs to be higher across all roles
Unrewarding Job.
Ambassador in San Diego:
Pros: There is some flexibility in schedules.
Cons: It doesn't pay well; I've worked there for 1 1/2 years with no raise. The company is very sloppy about everything.
Unorganized.
Marketing Specialist in Modesto:
Pros: People
Cons: Poor training g
Good place to work.
Category Manager:
Pros: Had a great leadership development program. Also learned a lot and was able to switch roles after a couple of years to an analyst which I have enjoyed even more.
Cons: Not always happy with the compensation that is given.
Used to be great.
Retail Merchandiser:
Pros: I love my job and what I do. I'm good at what I do. I like not being constantly watched. For the most part if you're good at your job then you are trusted to work without constant supervision. The job is very physical.
Cons: It used to be much better. We got to travel long distances which allowed us to make a lot more money. Now we barely make ends meet. Then to top it off the new hires are coming in making 2 to 3 dollars more an hour than us! What a slap in the face. This job should be salaried. We are also off 4 weeks every year without pay except for the holiday days these weeks may or may not fall on. A huge financial burden is created in this situation. Give me my travel back. Give me my old 30 minutes/20 miles lost as opposed to 60/40. Give us RAISES above what these new kids are making who don't know yet how to do the job!
Retail Merchandiser:
Pros: The Management, work flexibility, casual dress requirements.
Cons: I don't know of anything on the bad side as of yet.
