When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck (around $89K per year) can be spotted in San Jose, Calif.; Westport, Conn. (about $70K), New York, N.Y. ($59K), and Seattle, Wash. (approximately $56K) are the next top-paying cities. High paychecks are not found in Philadelphia, Pa.; in fact, at $46K it is one of the worst-paid cities. By state, Anthropologie Inc. employees make the most in Connecticut, earning approximately $68K annually on average.
Earning about $70K per year on average, Visual Display Managers receive the most money, followed by Retail Store Managers ($57K), Assistant Store Managers (around $51K), and Visual Managers ($50K). On the lower end are Retail Managers at $43K on average.

A fair number of respondents plan for retirement by taking advantage of the company-sponsored 401(k) program.
