Apple Computer, Inc Reviews

What is it like working at Apple Computer, Inc?

Oh how things have changed.
Sales Specialist in Charlotte:
Pros: The hourly rate of pay.
Cons: Having to get people into debt through financing a phone.
Great rapport, poor compensation transparency.
Computer / Network Support Technician in Los Angeles:
Pros: I love the work. I did agree with the internal practice of opportunities for upward mobility. Apple has not done enough to resolve issues of racial inequalities internally.
Cons: The hidden compensation of internal positions or growth opportunities.
What the heck.
Apple Genius:
Pros: They pay me when I come to work and I am able to do most of the things they need me to do.
Cons: It is hard to get beyond the Genius position, you pretty much have to leave the company or join management.
Recruiter:
Working alongside with smart people, you need to make sure you're smart enough. Super ambiguous environment where things are always changing. Adapt to survive. Despite the heavy workload, need to participate in projects out of scope. Having said that, people here are passionate about the brand and company. Extroverts will have an easier time here. Flexible working arrangement. 3 days thanksgiving leave and whole week off for CNY.
Great but difficult to advance across departments.
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist in Kyle:
Pros: Benefits, customers and pay
Cons: Lack of mobility, low representation and appreciation of women and older adults
Technical Support Specialist:
Good working conditions. Slightly frustrating hours. Reasonable pay. Work from home. Great health benefits and other additional benefits. Great training and reasonable customers. Management is effective and approachable.
Easy and flexible.
Technical Support Specialist in Cork:
Pros: Work from home and minimal manager interfeance
Cons: Finding it hard to progress past a certain level
