What is it like working at Ascension Health?

Includes a lot more work than just checking patients in.
Patient Access Representative in Kokomo:
Pros: The patients
Cons: Pay and the amount of work you are required to do with no help
Could be better.
Information Security Analyst in Birmingham:
Pros: My department is great. Most of the people in the department are incredibly talented and have a strong sense of work ethic.
Cons: Forces outside the department, especially HCL, seem to frequently target us without merit in an attempt to undermine our goals. Executives outside of Security throw money away on unneeded software when we have paid for tools already that accomplish the same job, yet somehow we've barely been able to get any kind of pay increases in a few years.
High Stress, No backup.
Registered Nurse (RN) in Carmel:

Cons: Manager personally does not like me and it is very apparant
Very fair and motivating environment. The wheels of change are very slow,
Family Physician / Doctor in Indianapolis:
Pros: No management required

Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in Milwaukee:
Pros: Patients
Cons: Management
Directors and VP of nursing make work difficult for all the staff.
Nursing Supervisor in Atlantic Beach:
Pros: I do not like it as I did previously
Cons: Directors and VP of nursing do not follow policy.
Great people working in a large-scale system, making progress slowly but surely.
Grants Manager in Appleton:
Pros: The opportunity to collaborate with various departments and leaders within the organization
Cons: The layers of red tape in order to get anything done
