BBVA Compass Reviews

What is it like working at BBVA Compass?

November 2018
Sales and Service Consultant:
Is a great company with a great culture and growth. Compensation is quite low for what you are expected and benefits are ok. Management is alright, need a little work with the training part. My BRE is the best.
November 2018
Retail Sales Associate:
I am a new employee to BBVA Compass, but I have previous banking experience. I have heard absolutely nothing but great things about this company. I am excited to move up in the company and start my career here. The benefits and pay are better than my previous banking experience.
February 2019
"Customer service is priority."
Financial Advisor in Fleming Island:
Pros: Helping my clients succeed in their financial goals.
Cons: No upward growth.
March 2019
"Dynamic."
Revenue Manager in Birmingham:
Pros: Exposure
Cons: Weak Communication
November 2019
Business Systems Analyst in Birmingham:
I loved the job, the culture and the people. Pay wasn't high and its hard to get promoted and paid decent. PTO/sick days are good but the health insurance is high. Lots of pros but also many cons. Some management is good but others don't really help grow their employees either.
June 2020
"Great potential that falls short."
Agile Coach in Birmingham:
Pros: The company is forward thinking and visionary. Its press releases and public actions are impressive. What falls short is their follow through and action when it actually costs something to match their words.
Cons: Compensation is not proactively kept up with the market. It is reactionary at best and this allows good people to walk out the door of the company. The best way to get a raise at BBVA is to leave.
