Christus Reviews
What is it like working at Christus?
Business Intelligence (BI) Developer in Tyler:
The IM and Analytics areas at Christus are growing and getting exciting. We are getting new tools and being asked to help all area of the organization for help in data analytics. I am happy with the organization and the treatment of our team.
Underpaid.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Sulphur Springs:
Pros: My patients, they are the reason I come to work everyday with a smile. The doctor I’m assigned to is wonderful
Cons: Secrets, lack of communication, lies, gossip. Leaders do not take charge in situations and employees end up handling things on their own that should’ve been dealt with by management
Patient Care Coordinator in Tyler:
Very, very disappointing! It was 2 weeks from the time I was hired until I started and they already changed my job duties before I even started. I was being bullied by a co-worker and when reported to my supervisor, nothing was done. I reported to HR and still nothing done. My job title was changed to be the same as others except they were making $6.00 more per hour then me and I was doing other job duties that they didn't have to do. When brought to my supervisors attention, nothing done. They have no respect for their employees. As long as you don't disagree with them, you are fine. On two different occasions my supervisor told me not to participate in simple conversation with other employees.
Stressful, leadership constantly changing.
Staff Nurse in College Station:
Pros: Coworkers
Cons: Pay, long hours, writing charting, every year new CEO every year new Charge Nurse. No Human Resourses on site.
Wonderful people on your team but you're just a number to your Employer.
OB/GYN Clinical Nurse in San Antonio:
Pros: My coworkers
Cons: Lack of pay transparency and the expectation to go over and above as part of your evaluation, like certifications for your field, teaching certification classes, without any incentives such as reimbursement for your efforts/materials/class fees/certification test fees, offering bonus pay to sign up for overtime then reneging after you're already on the schedule for 4 or more scheduled days of 12 hour shifts per week, and it seems there is no loyalty/seniority incentive pay.
