Concentra Medical Reviews

What is it like working at Concentra Medical?

Physical Therapist (PT) in Lewiston:
If you are lucky enough to have a great team of coworkers like I do, that will help you keep your sanity. Otherwise, the expectations are sometimes quite unrealistic. You are to give excellent, compassionate, skilled, hands-on patient care while sometimes juggling two to three patients, same-day evaluations from the medical providers, and human performance evaluations. Instead of being satisfied that you did your best for each patient, you often feel like you're trying to run a circus. This place is a bit of a patient mill, plus all the extra services required for pre-employment tests and walk-ins. Not the worst company by any means, but at times the pace and level of multitasking are overwhelming. The company does generally pay quite well and offer good PTO and benefits, so corporate is aware that this is a tough setting. If you are an experienced PT who can handle some period chaos, can set strong boundaries, and can maintain a realistic view of what you can accomplish, without letting the corporate undercurrent pressure you, this could be a lucrative and rewarding place for you.
Great coworkers but unrealistic expectations.
Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) in Lewiston:
Pros: My immediate coworkers are amazing and I appreciate working with my team.
Cons: The unrealistic expectations that corporate has for the employees, trying to make more money, go faster, and see more patients without sacrificing quality care or compassion.
PTSS Review.
Physical Therapy Aide in Grand Rapids:
Pros: I absolutely love who I work with in PT, she is awesome and fun and honestly everyone working at our center is a delight. I also love all the different people I get to interact with, because it keeps every day fresh and interesting .
Cons: I only wish I got paid more for the additional work I do. I not only work in PT and run PT referrals and scheduling, but have now been entrusted with working suspense and assisting the Front Desk when they need it.
Operations Director in Denver:
Pros: The people I work with
Cons: There is no consistency in my schedule or in leadership practices. There is a high turnover rate causing prolonged periods of time being short staffed and spending extended periods of time training people.
