"Amazing Perks and Great Technology."
Software Engineer in Kirkland:
Pros: Google has amazing technology and great people. I get to build cool tools every day and Google rewards me for my work. Working at Google is an amazing experience and a huge blessing.
Cons: Google zealously embraces progressive politics. Other political viewpoints are unwelcome, especially when it comes to so-called "culture war" topics. (so I just don't talk about such subjects at work).
July 2019
"Average Google experience."
Information Technology (IT) Project Coordinator in San Jose:
Pros: Access to a great variety of foods, snacks, gym and other services, quality of facilities, very open environment, higher than average transparency within the team. Extensive space and respect for any colleague to suggest improvements
Cons: Lack of proper and long term planing, outdated and inefficient project management strategies, lack of long term planning. Lack of communication between teams. Too much of a "startup" approach for the size and possibilities.
