McDonald's Corporation Reviews
What is it like working at McDonald's Corporation?
Floor Supervisor in Livermore:
The benefits in my store is that you get flexible schedule, 25% off food when off, $10 allowance when working.
"Get ready for the stress."
Food Service Manager in Matawan:
Pros: Great customer relations with the regulars, employers are nice, and the staff tends to be quite friendly.
Cons: Unrealistic customer expectations, being scammed by customers claiming false issues with food, overwhelming stress every shift, flipping through deals and promotions every single month much to customer's disappointment, and managing a staff made almost entirely of minors.
"Can be enjoyable with the right workers."
Fast Food Worker:
Pros: There can be satisfaction in every order made right. The occasional polite customer can give the job at least some meaning.
Cons: Uncooperative coworkers can at times make working difficult. Managers who are either immature or tend to micromanage can make it tempting to walk off store property during a shift.
Fast Food Worker:
Pros: The people I work with and the pace.
Cons: The treatment we receive from our general manager.
"It was good except General did not take responsible."
Pros: Working enviroment.
Cons: The fact that people do not like to come to work when schedule but always want extra hours.
Kitchen Manager, Restaurant:
Pros: I like working for McDonald's cause of the fast-paced atmosphere and how everyone is like one big family. The pay is very nice for a kid my age who is also going to college full-time. Flexible scheduling, extremely nice front-office management and stock-options are my favorites.
Cons: The stress level for a job with this sort of pay just plain old sucks. Some nights I question why I even took my job. Customers can be very rude and being cussed at for other peoples mistakes isn't fun at all.
Cook, Fast Food
Cons: Not enough people and they expect to much.
