Q: What is it like working at Mercy Hospital?

Licensed Mental Health Counselor:
The philosophy (like many other places) is 'do more with less.' It would help it management actually understood what the people who they manage actually do each day, and would actually listen to their input. The benefits are pretty good. There seems to be a huge emphasis on Mercy expanding, even if they haven't devoted enough time and attention to what already exists.

Registered Nurse (RN) in Springfield:
Pros: I love the people I work with. Everyone is very helpful.
Cons: Politics and changes to the nursing matrix. I do not feel that having 6+ patients on a tele post surgical unit is very wise.

Registered Nurse (RN) in Fort Smith:
"Diversity, work flexibility."
Pros: What I like most about my job is the patients and co workers.
Cons: Co workers turnover and low pay is what I like least along with working understaffed.
