Mercy Hospital Reviews

What is it like working at Mercy Hospital?

April 2015
"Diversity, work flexibility."
Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: What I like most about my job is the patients and co workers.
Cons: Co workers turnover and low pay is what I like least along with working understaffed.
January 2016
"Mercy."
Registered Nurse (RN):
Pros: I love the people I work with. Everyone is very helpful.
Cons: Politics and changes to the nursing matrix. I do not feel that having 6+ patients on a tele post surgical unit is very wise.
November 2018
Licensed Mental Health Counselor:
The philosophy (like many other places) is 'do more with less.' It would help it management actually understood what the people who they manage actually do each day, and would actually listen to their input. The benefits are pretty good. There seems to be a huge emphasis on Mercy expanding, even if they haven't devoted enough time and attention to what already exists.
November 2018
"New grads invade."
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in Oklahoma City:
Pros: Close to home and family. It is faith based
Cons: Distance to work poor roads. Constant changes to policy
November 2018
"Overworked, stessful, underpaid, patients do not receive proper care."
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in St. Louis:
Pros: Patient relations, patient satisfaction
Cons: Improper staffing; completing full care
December 2018
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist:
I like my job. I've been an xray tech for approx 30 yrs but the atea of CT is very new only been in the field for 1 yr, so it's all still new and exciting but I love it. My only issue is that some areas of the department are very busy and very understaffed. We are hopeful that the new manager will see this and fix it.
January 2019
Janitor in Moscow Mills:
Pros: Helping people in their time of need.
Cons: My boss is a jerk.
