What is it like working at SSM Health Care?

Management is not trustworthy.
Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care in St. Louis:
Pros: Providing compassionate & quality care to patients
Cons: Distrustful management lies

Pros: New scenarios for learning are presented frequently.
Cons: Sometimes have to be pulled from my job to work as a patient sitter.
SSM Health is great. The director of the department is a Vindictive, self serving person that has no idea about the sleep tech job.

Pros: Helping patients along side people that are there for the same reason.
Cons: New policies are not clearly stated to staff. Some policies are made from a point that knowledge of the situations these policies are implemented for is lacking at best, this leads to some policies being unable to be executed correctly.
Stressful job, but the work matters.

Cons: Management does not always listen to the staffs suggestions for betterment.

Senior leadership with regular turnover and they are struggling to find their voice and vision. They are Cutting benefits and expecting us to work with less supports than ever before . Lots of provider turnover and the morale is certainly affected . It Feels uncertain At times.
