Salesforce.com, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Salesforce.com, Inc.?

January 2019
Senior Quality Assurance (QA) / Test Automation Engineer:
Great company to work for... As a developer. Not so much as a quality engineer. Benefits are spectacular; insurance costs 1/3 less than anywhere else in town. Pay is at least 20% higher than similar positions at other major companies. When we went through a "hybrid transformation", teaching developers how to test and quality engineers how to develop, all of the quality engineers were fired.
February 2019
"You can only succeed if you are a sales person."
User Experience Researcher in San Francisco:
Pros: Salary, Health benefits, support for health and family
Cons: Highly political and stressful environment to work in - gets toxic pretty quickly
March 2019
"Positive place to work."
Senior Software Engineer in Indianapolis:
Pros: Great benefits, good remote work culture, strong engineering culture
Cons: Lots of bureaucracy and meetings, overtime work is usually on a voluntold basis
October 2019
"Don't work for the vendor."
E-mail Marketing Specialist in Seattle:
Pros: Health Insiramce
Cons: Lack of upward career movement
November 2019
"Salesforce.org QA is Great."
Test / Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Computer Software) in San Diego:
Pros: Autonomy and Trust to do my job the way I see fit.
Cons: There is a lot of changing going on so sometimes hard to see what the future will hold for our products and team.
