Siemens Reviews

What is it like working at Siemens?

Great experience with outstanding professional team.
Legal Counsel in Raleigh:
Pros: Independence within large organizational structure.
Cons: Limited opportunities to manage people.
Solutions Architect in Atlanta:
Pros: Lots of opportunities to work on different kinds of projects. Technologically there are lots of opportunities to learn new things.
Cons: Time cards and the things management cares about. Its becoming less about the customer than I would like to see.
Account Manager:
Absolutely an unpleasant experience. “Regarding Power, Oil and Gas division” No support, unrealistic goals, no communication. Consistently disappointing customers request. Enormously frustrating! This is unfortunate, seems Siemens is a good company unfortunately, not this division.
Great.
Fire Alarm Technician in Kansas City:
Pros: Technical
Cons: Not much training
Too much on too few.
Material Handler in Providence:
Pros: The experience
Cons: Work not spread evenly amongst employees, favoritism, and all the drama.
Production Coordinator, Manufacturing in Lincoln:
Pros: Interaction with other Siemens employees
Senior Software Engineer:
Lots of challenges working as a subsidiary of an international company. The benefits are good. But the compensation is subpar. There is not a lot of room for growth. All upper management is externally sourced.
