Tyler Technologies, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at Tyler Technologies, Inc.?

March 2016
Software Engineer:
Pros: It's a great corporate culture, interesting work, and the company is ran in a financially sound matter. I enjoy working here very much.
Cons: There isn't a great deal of bad other than below market pay.
January 2019
"Good."
UX Director in Cincinnati:
Pros: Culture and freedom my manager gives me to build the practice.
Cons: Inability to move quickly and effectively.
February 2019
User Experience Designer:
Tyler is a place that is sitting on amazing public data and doing nothing with it. They don't know how to leverage their assets, employees or products properly. They'll be profitable for a long time because of what they do, but from an employee perspective, it's a place to end your career - not grow.
August 2020
"Stressful but fulfilling."
Software Support Specialist in Troy:
Pros: That I’m able to heal the public by supporting our first responders.
Cons: The raises suck.
September 2020
Software Engineer in Plano:
Pros: Your work matters and you can see the impact it has when the client starts utilizing the custom software feature you created.
Cons: Negotiate a high salary before you start because you will only receive 2-4 percent pay increments every year beyond that and management will deny any request for a salary adjustment that is in line with current market rates for your position.
