Credit risk analysts are in charge of analyzing credit risk for clients on behalf of their organization. They are responsible for utilizing financial and credit information to perform risk analysis and deliver detailed reports based on their findings. They provide accurate results based on their analysis and explain credit analyses in non-technical terms to non-technical customers. They complete administrative application, as well as make credit decision using established company policies and procedures. They review high-risk relationships and escalate issues to other departments as needed. This analyst's main functions also include identify potential risk factors before approving credit lines to clients and applicants. as well as preventing loss and charge-back activity by mitigating credit risk. Additionally, these professionals analyze data on business relationships and reconcile credit requests.
