Deli Clerk Reviews
Q: What is it like working as a Deli Clerk?
Deli Clerk in Deer Park:
"How to kill someone's hopes and dreams."
Pros: The people I directly work with are nice.
Cons: Management literally is clueless to the point it creates a bad work environment
Deli Clerk in Angleton:
"It doesn't provide the compensation for living exoenses."
Pros: Hometown atmosphere
Cons: Too many kids getting paid more money for less work
Deli Clerk in Salem:
"It's fun expectation, do not match all employees wages, we are not all paid the same amount, the new employees are getting paid 12, we are at 11.50 and have to train new people who are making."
Pros: The people serving the customers
Deli Clerk in Katy:
"Great place to work."
Pros: I get to meet interesting people
Cons: Long drive to work
I was a little discouraged with the rate of pay. I was told one start rate only to be paid lower. I could get no proper answer from any supervisor and had to find out on my own thru the Kroger employee website. I was definitely worth more then $11.20 a hour having 5 years of experience as a chef in a coroporate company.
Deli Clerk in Aurora:
Pros: What I like most about working in Aurora is that there isn’t a lot of traffic.
Cons: What I like least about working in Aurora is that there aren’t a lot of good paying jobs willing to give someone with no degree a chance to prove they’re able to do the job.
Deli Clerk in Colorado Springs:
"Love my customers. .......choke and slap my coworkers."
Pros: I love kingsoopers.... prices! quality of products!!
Cons: Too top heavy with ineffective and unexperienced management
