Deli Clerk Reviews

Q: What is it like working as a Deli Clerk?

Deli Clerk in Charlotte:
"I work on the outskirts in Denver."
Pros: close to my residence
Cons: traffic

Deli Clerk in Kearney:
"Difficult Enviorment."
Pros: The people I work with are enjoyable and most of the customers can be very nice. I work in a fun environment.
Cons: Some of the customers can be horribly rude, the pay is bad, and it is difficult to find a full-time position or a job that provides enough hours. The cost of living is too high in this town and finding affordable housing is near impossible.

Deli Clerk in Oklahoma City:
"That they would have took away the spouse insurance."
Make sure you put the amount of experience you have on your application or resume. Work hard and stay busy.

Deli Clerk in Inverness:
"My Fresh Market review."
Pros: For the most part. The people I work with are very nice, and friendly, they seem to treat you like family, and with any job it has it's up's and down's .
Cons: HOWEVER, I don't think it's fair to blame the employers (Deli) when things don't go right. I don't think it's right to write people up for small mistakes. They need to change how there raises are done after 90 days. It used to be a fun place to work, now I'm on pins and needles hoping to make it a year.

Deli Clerk in Tacoma:
"I hate my job at Safeway."
Pros: The day goes by fast because I am constantly busy.
Cons: Management treats older employees bad. No pay raises in 2 years. No promotions unless you're a male or if you're under 40 years old.

Deli Clerk in Winston-Salem:
"The manager takes care of who he wants, not based on work."
Try to start at the highest pay.

Deli Clerk in Andrews:
"Descent."
Pros: I enjoy doing the food prep and getting thing ready before people show up.
Cons: I don't like dealing with all of the people or being left alone while I am still learning. Also the meat case is aggravating because there is no order to it.
