Environmental consultants largely work in a wide range of industries, from the private sector to corporate or government contracts. Their job duties vary largely depending on the industry in which they work. Largely, though, they they work to assess the environmental impact of a given company or process, and will often work in locations where employees are dealing with dangerous materials on a daily basis.
