Pros: Had to choose Equity Research because lack of option. A certain Prestige, Learning to Invest, Intelectually oriented, meeting people, Work with very intelligent Type A people, Encouraged to further develop professionaly and intelectually.
Cons: Stress, Pay should be better, cut throat, all the dirty work falls on you.

Pros: The constantly changing, fast-paced environment we cover (global equities).
Cons: Feel that the pay does not cover the stress, importance, or level of critical thinking needed to perform at the highest level.
