Fire Fighter in Delray Beach:
"Do not work for the City of Delray Beach."
The City of Delray Beach views its employees as a burden rather than the assets that they are. The City of Delray Beach is an abusive and dishonest employer who will lure applicants in with the promise of competitive salaries and benefits and then fail to deliver. They have frozen wages, cut benefits and taken away holidays for the last 6 years. Some coworkers have not had a raise in 9 years. 9 years. Now, they are dangling the possibility of a raise but only if the can gut the pension. They are truly a disgusting group to work for. Do not waste your time with them.
