Job Description for Machine Design Engineer

Machine design engineers work with and troubleshoot various types of machinery, as well as develop new types of equipment to be used to create new products. They often provide managerial and technical leadership when designing a product and also construct and commission advanced testing systems for a variety of clients. Most machine design engineers work in small teams which combine their ideas to develop custom designs which satisfy customers' needs, and these projects range from wind tunnels and jet engine tests to rockets and support equipment.
