Pros: Exciting products and fast paced automotive like work environment. Pride in the products you design and build.
Cons: Lack of appreciation and development

Fun place to work.
Mechanical Engineer in Lehi:
Pros: Very flexible schedule, good work life balance. I've been lucky to work with some very positive and smart people.
Cons: HR is very reluctant to give raises despite a solid body of work. They don't seem to work very hard to retain talent either. Upper management sometimes seems like fraternity where they are only concerned with each others careers and development.

The manufacturing facility is extremely dirty and there seems to be politics when it comes to management.

Great company with endless opportunity.

Pros: The breadth of work that Black & Veatch is involved in provides endless opportunities for growth. If you want to move across business lines to get experience in a new area of work there will always be opportunities. In fact, it is encouraged early on in your career. The people are also great all throughout the company.
Cons: Short amount of vacation starting 2 weeks. Slow vacation increase structure.
