Job Description

A mechanical engineering technician works with other engineers to develop (and/or improve existing) products and machinery. These technicians play an important role in the manufacturing process, as they can improve efficiency and worker safety by evolving existing processes. Additionally, a mechanical engineering technician can add functionality to products by creating parts and processes that make them more useful. They also help diagnose and remedy existing mechanical processes that appear prone to higher-than-acceptable failure rates.
