Power system operators are responsible for configuring and operating power systems that require specialty training. They are in charge of monitoring and moving different equipment in a plant setting, and they must follow all safety procedures to prevent on-the-job accidents. One of the operator's main functions include operating power systems according to established guidelines for operation. They are also responsible for dealing with power systems maintenance, repair, and escalating operational issues as needed.
