Project Engineer Reviews
What is it like working as a Project Engineer?

Disconnected.
Project Engineer in Evansville:
Pros: Pay, Benefits, Challenging Work

Project Engineer in Budapest:
Pros: Great, inspirational environment, cool colleagues, lots of opportunities to improve my skills, constantly growing responsibilities
Cons: My salary is way below average. Even if I don't take into account my education or language skills, my wage is still below.

Incredible culture and place to work.
Project Engineer in Dallas:
Pros: Support received from management is what you hope for regarding design. They want things done safely and reliably from the beginning.
Cons: An organization so big can sometimes take more time to make needed changes.
April 2019
Not Worth It Unless You Have Some Deep Existential Need To Manage Construction.
Project Engineer in Glen Burnie:
Pros: Pay is good or so I'm told
Cons: Working 50-60 hours a week on the regs and being looked down upon if you don't like it. Using PTO usually leads to more work piling up once you get back. Lack of communication between managers-you'll get inconsistent directions and take the punches for following someone else's directions. Machismo and cult-like devotion to the company. Advancement doesn't actually improve your pay for the effort you have to put in. In certain offices room for learning is limited and you'll get chewed out for being 5 minutes late after giving them 10-20 hours of free labor. Most of the personalities here are pretty robotic and unfeeling, it's only about the results Bell gets. Up to you to decide if that's a good thing or not.
April 2019
Good company with room to improve.
Project Engineer in Santiago:
Pros: Indepency and high-impact decision making
Decision power
Cons: Non-alignment between different departments
April 2019
Great company and atmosphere.
Project Engineer in Houston:
Pros: you're in control of your own destiny
Cons: salaries are not keeping up with current markets
April 2019
Smaller town, less trafick.
Project Engineer in Potchefstroom:
Pros: Generally Potchefstroom is a nice place to live and work. There is not much work for engineers and therefore engineers usually travel for work.
Cons: We have to travel for work and only get payed half an hour per hour traveling.
