Working for the company is fine, it's one of the very few options in town and they know it. When I first started working, they really cared about their patients. Over time they have bitten off more than they can chew and the last few years it was a huge push to do it all and do it first. As a result of poor roll-outs, we were constantly fixing something "in the next 90 days" so we didn't not lose our CMS funding or certification or something. The direct management turned over a lot so in my 7 years I had 3 managers and most of the floors had turned over at least once (some 4 and 5 times). Overall, they serve the community to the best of what they are able; having now worked at several other both larger and smaller hospitals, they could definable do worse but could also do much better. They started pinching pennies so bad recently that they refused to pay me a referral bonus for a friend I recommended work there because his first paycheck was after my last day, never mind we literally worked together for two weeks and his application took 4 months from submit to job.

The benefits are great. Pay is okay...sounds like it’s better elsewhere. Co-workers are the best aside from a few certain floors. THR strives to have a good culture and they really do. They also like to recognize accomplishments.
