Blue collar city, I fit in well with the casual work environments.
Human Resources (HR) Manager in Edmonton:
Pros: Close to Spruce Grove, where I live. Opportunity is here but hard to come by.
Cons: The oil and gas indsurty has hit us all so hard. The glory days of extras such as paid benefits, RRSP plans, Bonus's, profit sharing are gone and most likely not returning. Hard to live pay cheque to pay cheque. Years of experience no longer matter.
