Operations Manager:
Mixed-bag of positive and negative experiences working at an institution that claims to be at the forefront of social justice. Management leaves a lot to be desired and is led mostly by middle-aged white men who pat themselves on the back for hiring people of diverse backgrounds into entry-level and middle-management roles. Communication across departments is terrible and leads to unnecessary challenges for students and employees. Compensation is lower than most universities in NYC, but benefits are good.
