Film / Video Editor Reviews

What is it like working as a Film / Video Editor?

Film / Video Editor in Montreal:
"Creative."
Pros: I like that I pretty much have complete creative freedom in my work. The environment I work in is also a very laid back, relaxing place so I'm not too stressed out. I work in the adult industry so the content can stress me out sometimes because it can get very repetitive. But our adult movies are very cinematic, have story lines and pretty much play out like movies you'd need on the big screen except you see all the hardcore sex. It's a bittersweet experience for me but I still feel pretty lucky to have this job position.
Cons: I've become really desensitized to adult content and it's affected my current relationship to the point where any sexual intentions put me off or bore me so this is a pretty bad part about working in this industry and watch adult content 8 hrs, 5 times a week.
