When it comes to location, the highest average paycheck ($25.24 per hour) can be spotted in Pittsburgh, Pa.; Williamsport, Pa. (approximately $24.50), Houston, Texas ($21.00), and Cleveland, Ohio ($21.00) are the next top-paying cities. High paychecks are not found in Reno, Nev.; in fact, at $13.85 it is one of the worst-paid cities. By state, the highest pay levels are found in Michigan, where the average HCR ManorCare employee makes about $23.62 per hour.
Years of Experience
Average pay is around $17.76 per hour for those with five to nine years of experience. The greater proportion of employees (36 percent) report one to four years of experience and bring home median pay of approximately $18.26 per hour.
