Victoria's Secret workers in Nevada earn the most — $16.71 per hour on average.
The highest average salaries go to Merchandising Managers, who bring in close to about $16.51 per hour, though Merchandising Supervisors are not far behind at $13.29 along with Sales Specialists (around $11.38) and Sales Support Specialists ($11.00). Cashiers are among the lowest paid at a median salary of $9.84.
Years of Experience
Five to nine years of work experience seem to result in median wages of approximately $12.65 per hour. When we consider tenure, a substantial portion of employees (65 percent) have been working for one to four years and make $10.97 per hour on average.
Certifications and Degrees
Business Certificate Holders are compensated at a much higher rate than non-authorized workers, bringing in close to around $14.88 per hour. The best paid folks at Victoria's Secret have a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), earning $25.50 per hour.
Employees who count Merchandising among their skills enjoy higher pay; the median for this group is approximately $13.51 per hour. One of the more prevalent skills at Victoria's Secret is Customer Service, with a solid majority considering it a key competency. Cash Handling, Retail, and Sales were also reported by many survey participants.
Women make up the majority of employees who completed the questionnaire for a female-to-male ratio of more than 3 to 1.
