An effective associate business analyst can incorporate and integrate all mediums of technology (internet, television, mobile phones, pamphlets, and posters) to reach as broad of spectrum of people as possible with the company’s message or promotion. By taking into account variables from many different sources, analyzing and applying data, associate business analysts are able to make effective promotions, events, and sales. This position could entail managing the promotions and sales for an entire region of a company’s stores. This includes staying up-to-date with their competition, market trends, and other data and working with the supply chain, vendors and promoters. Requirements for this position include the ability to run and maintain multiple databases, advanced MS Excel knowledge, prior experience in retail chain management, and prior experience in retail chain forecasting.
