A large chunk of former Bucknell students are employed in the financial services industry; in fact, this is the most popular job sector for this population. On the other end, Bucknell grads flock to Washington, DC, which actually offers the weakest median salary of $50K. Nearby Philadelphia, Pa. and Boston, Mass. also rank high on the list of cities for Bucknell grads.

Degree Major

Bucknell students with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Finance can expect to make the most money ($176K on average per year) compared to their fellow graduates. A Bachelor of Science in Biology offers the lowest median annual financial reward (approximately $35K).


People Management commands a pay premium of 49 percent for former Bisons. Project Management is a common skill among Bucknell alumni — slightly more than a fifth of grads mention using it at work. Competency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Data Analysis also warrants excellent remuneration.

Benefits and Perks

Just two-fifths of alumni enjoy paid vacation and merely one in five survey participants get paid sick time. Benefits are rather generous for graduates of this school; a large number of alums are rewarded with health insurance and a strong majority of former students report dental coverage, too.
